On Wednesday June 7th I am presenting Circle of Perpetual Choirs.
The Circle of Perpetual Choirs is perhaps the most evocative and controversial British landscape mystery. John Michell, starting from sources mentioning Glastonbury as a location where a constant liturgy was recited, went on to postulate alignments with sites with similar associations, creating a decagon centred on White Leaved Oak in the Malverns.
I will talk about all this and Druidic mythology, William Blake, the Enchantment of the Landscape, Psychic Questing, and his own vision quest that led him from a moment of revelation in Glastonbury to live out his dream at White Leaved Oak. A Gayatri Mantra initiation and Medicine Buddha puja are featured along the way. Lots of fine images will accompany this.
The event is in the Town Hall, BA6 9EL. Doors open 7:00 for 7:30 start.
In December, I will discuss the life and work of Russian mystical artist Nicholas Roerich on the anniversary of his death.
More details to follow.
